Our furniture recycling project in Midlothian

Our furniture recycling project has been going for a number of years now and has grown over the past 12 months. The impact of this work on the environment can be massive and in the past 12 months, we have saved over 800 tonnes of carbon emissions from going into the atmosphere as well as providing a cheap way to furnish your home.

How we recycle

We can now fully PAT test electrical goods and have an exempt activity licence from SEPA and we are about to work with Midlothian Council to maximise the supply of these goods to Marc Contracts Limited. The furniture we uplift now goes to our depot at Sherwood, where it is cleaned, and any minor repairs are carried out, before placing them in our shop or online for sale.
